Christina Halatsis brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to thoughtful, enduring design. She has extensive experience in construction coordination, navigating complex building systems and approvals to ensure projects move smoothly from design to construction. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Minnesota, where her studies emphasized design theory, sustainability, and practical problem-solving.

Drawn to the innovation shaping Chicago’s skyline, Christina pursued her Master of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She later joined Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, where she worked on large-scale supertall projects at the forefront of sustainable design.

Christina’s international experience expanded further with three years in Paramaribo, Suriname, working with Gunnar Gullit Architecten on a range of financial, recreational, and residential projects.

In 2012, she moved to New York City, where she found her niche in high-end residential design at Cicognani Kalla Architect, followed by large-scale development work at Pembrooke & Ives. These experiences laid the foundation for launching her own practice, Halatsis Architect, in 2016.

Christina is a licensed architect in New York and Minnesota. Her work reflects a dedication to refined aesthetics, technical excellence, and a client-centered approach from concept through completion.
